Editorial Policies and Publication Code of Ethic
This document defines the principles, governance framework, and ethical standards of the Lexgovia Journal. It serves as an official guideline for journal managers, editors, reviewers, authors, and all parties involved in the publication process.
This policy is developed in accordance with the National Scientific Journal Accreditation Guidelines (ARJUNA), SINTA (Science and Technology Index) standards, and internationally recognized best practices in scholarly publishing, including the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The policy aims to ensure academic integrity, editorial transparency, accountability, and high-quality scholarly publications.
Journal Governance
The governance framework of the Lexgovia Journal is designed to comply with and exceed the requirements of SINTA/ARJUNA accreditation and the evaluation criteria of internationally indexed journals (Scopus). The journal upholds the principles of good journal governance, including editorial independence, transparency, accountability, consistency, and sustainability.

The management and editorial practices of the Lexgovia Journal are based on the following principles:
- Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made solely on academic merit and are free from institutional, political, or commercial influence. - Accountability
All editorial and publication processes are conducted responsibly and can be justified academically and administratively. - Transparency
Journal policies, peer review procedures, and editorial structures are publicly available and clearly communicated. - Scholarly Quality
The journal ensures compliance with national and international academic and ethical standards. - Sustainability
The journal maintains consistent publication schedules, editorial succession, and stable journal management.
2. Organizational Structure
- Publisher / Responsible Institution
A legally established and officially registered publishing institution. - Editor-in-Chief
Holds overall responsibility for editorial policy, final decisions on manuscripts, and the integrity of the publication process. - Managing Editor
Oversees day-to-day editorial operations and manages manuscript submission and review workflows. - Editorial Board
Comprises nationally and/or internationally recognized scholars who provide academic guidance and support editorial quality. - Reviewers
Independent experts with relevant expertise who conduct peer review objectively and confidentially.
3. Editorial Independence
All editorial decisions are made independently without interference from the publisher, sponsors, or affiliated institutions. Any potential conflicts of interest are disclosed and managed transparently.
4. Transparency and Accountability
- Journal policies and ethical standards are publicly accessible on the official journal website.
- Editorial and peer review processes are properly documented and auditable.
- Statistics on manuscript acceptance, rejection rates, and processing times are periodically disclosed.
5. Sustainability and Access
- The journal is published consistently according to its stated publication frequency.
- The Lexgovia Journal adopts an Open Access policy with clearly defined licensing terms (e.g., Creative Commons Attribution/CC BY).
- Digital archiving is ensured through reliable archiving systems such as LOCKSS or PKP Preservation Network (PN), where available.
